Find Charlestown Medical Centre's location in Charlestown Shopping Centre, Dublin 11

The medical centre is located at the second floor of Charlestown Shopping Centre in Finglas, Dublin 11. 

From the main hall of Charlestown Shopping Centre look for the big wall-mounted plasma screen and take the entrance beside the screen into the lift corridor. From here, you could opt for the lift (take the right-sided one only) and go up to the second floor or you could take the stairs (located just before the restroom's corridor on the left hand) to the top floor. 
Alternatively, you could take the lift at the right in the underground car park and go up to the 2nd floor.

By car:
We are 2 minutes-drive from the Junction 5 of the M50. You could also get here from Finglas west or Ballymun using St. Margaret's Road.

By bus:
The area is served by four bus routes which terminate near Charlestown S.C. (9, 40, 83 and 83A). Three of them stop right at the shopping centre.
  • Route 9: Limeklin Avenue (Greenhills College, D.12) - Phibsboro - Ballymun Rd. - Glasnevin Ave. - Charlestown S.C.. Check full route and all stops here.
  • Route 40: Fonthill Road (Liffey Valley S.C.) - Lucan - Ballyfermot Road - O'Connel St. - Parnell Sq. - Dorset St. - Jamestown Rd. (Finglas village). Check full route and all stops here.

Two hours free car park & disabled access in Charlestown Shopping Centre

You will always find sufficient car park spaces in the S.C.'s underground car park or in the outside car park (20m from the main entrance).

Also, we are happy to let you know that you can park free of charge for the first 2 hours and pay only €2 per hour thereafter (the amount may vary according to the shopping centre's management).

The entire shopping centre (including our premises) offers full disabled access.

  • Monday - Friday: 9:30am - 12:30pm and 2:00pm - 5:30pm
  • Saturday: Closed

Practice Nurse (hours below may vary):
  • Monday to Thursday (incl.): 9:00am - 2:00pm (blood tests, smear tests (Babes-Papanicolau tests), childhood immunisations, maternity checks, dressing clinic, other treatments). No Blood tests are done later than 11:30am (due to courier collection times).
  • Tuesdays (afternoon): 2:00pm - 7:00pm (smear tests & childhood immunisations only).

  • Saturdays: 11:00am - 2:00pm
